About sponsorship.

Where does my $50 go?

Approximately $35 supports the sponsored child directly — meals, school fees, healthcare, and program costs. The remainder supports the local staff, mentors, and infrastructure that make the program run.

Can I write to the child I sponsor?

Yes. We facilitate letters both ways — you’ll receive quarterly updates and can write back at any time through our secure sponsor portal (launching 2026).

Can I visit the child?

In-person visits are possible through our organized trips. We do not permit unaccompanied visits for child protection reasons.

Can I cancel or change my sponsorship?

Absolutely, at any time — no penalty. We ask that you give us 30 days notice so we can arrange continuity for the child.

Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?

Yes, in the United States. You’ll receive an annual tax receipt in January for the prior year’s giving.
